Sanyo Eneloop Lamp is also a stylish flashlight
Sanyo has added a new product to their Eneloop range: the Eneloop lamp. It’s a rechargeable interior light that be used as an “interior light” for daily living and as a “flashlight” in an emergency. The lamp uses a contactless charging system and has no metallic contact on the product body, giving it a nice exterior appearance.
The lamp looks a bid like a vase with a maximum diameter of 121 mm and a height of 221 mm. It can be used in three different ways:
- as a white lamp as interior light;
- as a blue lamp as an ambience light;
- as a flashlight that comes when it’s picked up and turned 90 degrees.

The battery will last up to 45 hours, depending on the mode is set to. This also means that you’ll be certain to have light for quite a while when you need it as a flashlight.
The official releasedate for the Eneloop Lamp is set to September 11, 2009. Wonder if picking this date is related to the Twin Towers attack.
