BMW X1 white baby crossover SUV

The new BMW X1, the newest crossover SUV, fits in the range of BMW SUV’s like the X3 and x5. The smallest X vehicle in the range is 4454 mm long, 1798mm wide and 1545 mm high. It has a wheelbase of 2760 mm.
The BMW X1 will come with the choice of six different models. Just one runs on petrol and it has a 3.0-litre straight six engine with 258hp (190kW) with an acceleration 0–100 km/h (0-62 mph) 6.8 sec and a top speed of 205 km/h (127 mph). All the oter models will run on four-cylinder diesel engines, with power ranging from 143hp (105kW) to 204hp (150kW).

Buyers of an X1 have the choice between a standard rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, depending on the model.

The BMW X1 goes on sale in the UK on 24 October, 2009. The US will follow in 2011.
