Top 10 important changes coming with iPhone OS 3.0

Today Apple launched the long awaited new version of the iPhone software: OS 3.0. It comes with a lot of new functions. Some should have been in from the beginning, others are really nice extra’s to the iPhone. This version is already installed on the new iPhone 3G S.
Here’s a list of 10 of the most important new functions of the new OS. There are more changes, but this gives you a nice start.
- Send an MMS: Yes, you can now send picture messages.
- Deleting single messages: Finally you can delete one message instead of the whole conversation.
- Record a voice memo: A new app allows you to record voice.
- Song jumping: You can jump in a song to the a specific point.
- Rate youtube video’s: The youtube app has been improved and rating is possible now.
- Landscape support: Typing messages with the small keyboard or reading them in small screen is no longer necessary.
- Cut-Copy-Paste: You can now copy that link or text and use it in a message.
- Search: Easy search in contacts,
- Tethering: Connect to Internet with a pc using the iPhone’s connection.
- Forwarding messages: It’s now possible to forward an SMS/MMS message.
